Photobucket FYP cambodia trip: Exploring Angkor Wat @ 3:20:00 PM

A day trip, exploring Angkor Wat and another of its 4 temples
Believing is difficult, but its worth the shot.
Angkor Wat, if worth to deem as a trip of a lifetime
i'm proud that i was there.
Angkor wat was built without technology and was built with the determination of men.
the hope to worship the gods, the strong believe in their faith.
seeing is believing
through my pictures, i have done angkor wat unjust, but i still hope to spread the moments to you guys.
there are a total of 27 temples in total, but we didn't have time (nor the energy) to explore all. Now we know why they say you need a mimimum of 3 days to scale it all.
As we wanted to see the sunrise, we woke up around 3 am plus to travel down to catch a glimpse. We couldn't understand why there is a need at first. We complained. But later on, we understood. the scene was breathtaking. trust me.
Angkor wat at the break of dawn

Angkor wat, goodbyes
sad to say, due to excessive tourism, Angkor wat is experience trampling.
With that, erodes the temple, due to acid from tourists, corrosions and so on..
thus, within another 10 years, i think we might not be able to explore the insides of Angkor wat.

breath taking, every step we take
It is like a maze in there.
But each corner comes something new. As we follow the directions, we are walking the paths of the ancient. I felt that i was them, following my path to faith.

steap roads, narrow paths
We scaled a total of 4 temples.
Sad to say, i didn't have the courage to scale on of them, coz it was too steap for me.
I have a really bad case of maintaining my balance. I guess I will fall to my death?
It isn't easy climbing all 4 of them, but i am proud to say, I did it!
Guess what, some of them said that they didn't think that i would be one of the last remaining ones, for the temple trip. Loads had given up.
thus, i'm just so proud of myself!
Check us out in action!

Angkor wat, the place full of wonders
Looking at the pictures, dawns to me that i have learnt a lot.
Made a lot of new friends, made a lot of good friends, gained a lot experiences, and know more about myself.
Jasmine ang actually loves the crew!
though we aren't close, but we had loads of fun.
As scaling the temples need loads of energy and effort, we helped one another up and down. Pulling and encouraging one another, overcoming the fear of heights...
Guys! We made it!
Deserves an applause!

this was where they shot lara croft, tomb raider!
And also marks the end of the trip, as it was our last temple.
Since 3am in the morning till the late afternoon.
:) Good bye Angkor wat!

Out of all photos, this is my favourite.
thanks bear for taking it!
I would just like to say, thanks for letting me join in the Angkor wat tour with you guys.
Appreciated it.
^-^

Angkor Wat trip to me, i think it is the walk of faith.
After the trip, makes me a much stronger person. If i can survive all the ordeals i had in Cambodia, then will be able to cope with everything else. With sheer determination.
Time seems to have stopped when i was there.
While walking around, we saw some old women staying in the temple.
We asked why...
they said that it is part of their culture. the women were actually dying.
If you have sinned, you hope for forgiveness, you will stay at the temple till death. in hope to seek for forgiveness.
In near future, I shall be stressed over stupid issues, think about the good in life, and relax.
:)
