BFgang Supposedly X'mas BBQ 2008! @ 10:21:00 PM
Expanded BFgang X'mas BBQ 2008! I'm still wondering why is it a X'mas BBQ!
Well, i stole the all images and pictures from Jessica's facebook account. Jes, you earn a jasmine star for that effort!!! :) get 10,000 stars to earn yourself a lollipop!
OK... the X'mas BBQ was a small HUGE event. In which, we contacted like 10s of people, whereby 2 ended up sick, 3 working, 1 overseas and others no where to be found. So we are still considered a huge event, done by professional event planners! hey! we didn't do our post event evaluation lor!
Anyway... here is how we planned it... For some tips for the beginners.
Explore the host's house to destress and find stuffs
Jes and Sokky came much earlier to do some grocery shopping. Guess what people! We only started preparing food and all ON THE DAY OF THE BBQ itself. Cool shit right. Not for paranoid people though. Will Die of stress and panic.
1. Explore jasmine's loves and secrets~
Jes found my DBSK poster!! It was on the wall.. but it fell, due to lousy blue tacks. But its ok, i still love them~ Cool shit right!
Then, they found my love for books!!! From storybooks, to magazines, to newspapers, to manga... you name it, i got it. They suggested that i sell some of them.
1. to prevent termites 2. to earn money
But Never!! i think if i get married, i will bring my books along!!!! There was once, i wanted to fill my whole bedroom with books, with huge bookshelf. But termites came along. SHIT.
2. Start Work! Inspired by Lil Nonya
Jes was seriously caught up with that Ch8 show. (NOOOOOOOOOOOOo)
so we were inspired to have a nonya way of cooking. But, i think, fan of the show shall always remain as a fan la, coz apparently, Sokky did most of the work. She is a walking receipe book.
But I did help too. I helped by pounding the ginger in the traditional way. Tasted nonya in the chick wings anybody????
I also managed to do something impossible. Squeeze the chick wings in my fringe even though it was fully packed. Stanley! see! I got your pizza loh!
3. Entertainment!
While waiting, we watched our fav, 2D1N, village marathon! Jes and Sok was like just sleeping around the bed. Sorry for the mess in the room. I tried my best.
4. Prepare the food and EAT!!
Guys, they are remarkable. Esp guys whom can cook and prepare food.
Sorry, not lai karl. I;m talking abt cass!
5. Starting the fire
Always bring someone you know whom knows how to start the fire. Or else. DIE.
We were standing there figuring out how to start the fire. But none of us knew..

Miss Recipe Book, sokky came!
She is also a walking fire starter i guess. Guys, you can hire her at 1900-SOKKY-TOOLBOX hotline. We will serve you asap.
Check this out, the person who knows how to start the fire VS the person whom PRETENDS to know how to start the fire (in the end, added more smoke only)
And after Sokky's hardwork, she just went back to see betrayer by her lover, PONG.
Pong is totally stuck on her only friend julette. Coz i know la, she don't wanna lose her only friend. Even in my worst situation (facebook, pet society era), i still had Joni + lai karl at my side. LOL.
6. Find the right chef
Right chef + right skills = FOOD
Wrong chef + Wrong Skills = penalty games.
That's why you kept losing!
7. GO wild!!
We didn't have booze, but the two still pretended to be drunk. Welcome to the world of the dumb & Dumber's. No wonder the water had a weird smell after that. I believe it is the curse of the stinky feets.
8. Be bloated!
3 packs of hotdogs + 3 packs of crab sticks = a stomach.
Trust me. We had enough. The hotdogs and crab sticks were secretly reproducing while they were being BBQ-ed.
We forgot to take group picture!! AHHHHH
And i still can't figure out why is this a X'mas BBQ? where is the X'massy feel.
Lol. NExt time we will have gift exchanges alright!
